Low-Carbon Materials for Repair, Protection and Precast Applications

UrbaX develops cement-free inorganic building materials designed for real-world construction needs. From crack repair and concrete protection to precast applications, our products combine durability, practical application and a lower-carbon material approach.

URBA-FILL

Crack & Joint Repair

URBA-FILL is a high-performance, low-carbon inorganic repair material designed for non-structural cracks and joints on concrete floors and walls. Its paste-like consistency allows it to fill localized cracks while providing strong adhesion and low shrinkage.

Depending on the grade, URBA-FILL is suitable for cracks and rigid joints below approximately 3–5 mm. It can be applied on both horizontal and vertical surfaces and on damp, non-saturated substrates.

Unlike structural epoxy injection systems, URBA-FILL is designed primarily for durable sealing and localized repair rather than structural load transfer. Its simple manual application can reduce the need for specialized injection equipment in suitable applications.

Best suited for:  concrete cracks, construction joints, localized floor and wall repairs, and non-structural sealing applications.

URBA-SHIELD
Concrete Surface Protection

URBA-SHIELD is a high-performance inorganic composite designed to protect concrete surfaces from moisture, weathering and environmental exposure. It can be applied to internal or external concrete surfaces and is available in rigid or flexible versions.

The material combines strong adhesion, low shrinkage and practical on-site application. According to current product data, URBA-SHIELD is cement-free and classified as A1 non-combustible under EN 13501-1.

Best suited for: concrete surface protection, exposed structures, public assets, infrastructure and preventive maintenance.

URBA-CRETE
Low-Carbon Binder for Casting & Precast

URBA-CRETE is a cement-free, low-carbon hydraulic binder developed for concrete, mortar and precast applications. It can be used to create precast elements such as panels, bricks, landscape elements and complex cast shapes.

Different strength classes are available for different applications. Current product data also highlights good chemical resistance, low heat generation and a carbon footprint up to 80% lower than conventional solutions, depending on the formulation and comparison baseline.

URBA-CRETE has also been demonstrated in marine precast applications, including the RockUrchins project at Marina Keppel Bay in Singapore.

Best suited for: precast elements, architectural components, landscape products, concrete and mortar production, and specialized casting applications.
